Match the Hatch for Streamers

By: Fly Fishing with Jeff

We streamer folks need to match the hatch as often as possible. In this video I demo two flies; a baitfish jig pattern and a cicada fly for the upcoming 17 year cicada hatch. You will also see a short scene from a couple of weeks back where I snag a baitfish and compare it side by side with the fly I was using at that exact moment … a perfect match the hatch moment. For more questions you can find me at my website, https://www.flyfishingwithjeff.com where you can leave me questions that I will do my best to accurately answer.
