My grandpa is the reason I put the line in the water but the fishing community is what kept the fire burning for me. My name is Tarrence Gordwin (pronounced Torrence) 😅. Fishing was something my grandpa and I would do together when we were not working. Being born in Houston, we had some hot summers, and fishing in the cool mornings was always something rewarding that I looked forward to. My grandpa was someone very special to me even though we only spent 4 years together. Looking back, those 4 years happened to be what made me who I am today. I ended up moving to Plano, Texas at a young age and dropped fishing for a long time until he passed away. I started fishing on my own a few years ago as a way to reconnect with him, but very quickly it became a passion. A goal of mine is to gradually develop high-quality content of my fishing journey to share and inspire others. Ultimately, I plan on exploring ALL of the outdoors not just fishing.
