The fish were on the small size today, water temps were 53 degrees - much colder that three weeks earlier. Some of the places that had crappie three weeks ago had no crappie holding on the same places, which means crappie may be in transition. I'll keep you posted as I see how they are moving.

I went creek fishing at a NEW creek! I was fishing for ANYTHING that would bite. I didn't care what species it was, I just wanted to have fun and catch fish. This was my first time fishing this creek. I decided to check it out and I'm glad I did! I love exploring new fishing spots, you never know what you're going to find. I used a lot of different lures and caught a decent amount of fish. I also had a surprise catch! Creek fishing is by far one of my favorite types of fishing. Can't wait to come back to this creek!
