Epic slab adventure in the ol' Twin Trollers!

Since we had a major storm moving in today and I only had a few hours to fish I decided to do a tutorial on bank fishing. My target fish were crappie but I caught bass and catfish.

We headed to the lake today to do some crappie fishing, we hoped to find some crappie that had moved up shallow by fishing around lay-downs and beaver lodges.

Here it is guys! Just some reason why I really think buying the RS117 was a huge success.

The crappie was scattered really all over the lake today. I caught crappie in 20' of water and 5' of water and suspended it in 8-12' of water. The crappie I found in the middle of the cover was the nicer size crappie for the most part. I caught all fish vertical jigging hair jigs.

In this episode, Steve and CJ headed out to a local lake with INSANELY clear water to do some bed fishing and general sight fishing for bass.

We've been trying to catch this fish on the fly for years...it finally happened! We hooked a freaking monster fish y'all, just wait til you see how big this thing was!

The crappie is moving into the coves but they are scattered. It will not be long before they are spawning. I caught the biggest fish over creek channels along the main lake and in the mouth of big coves.

I think I just found creek fishing heaven here in eastern North Carolina. The beauty of this creek blew me away. You wouldn't expect to find something like this so far east. Enjoy!
