The day start off slow for fishing but ended with a bang. When I left around three the fish were still biting. The bite picked up after lunch. Hair jigs in gray and white and black were the best colors. Fish were in the 8-14 foot range most were staging just outside the flats.

After an amazing day of catching 3 double-digit basses, @Jon B. and I are after a few more lunkers under tough conditions. After a long day's work, I finally hook into one of these huge largemouths and feel a pull that rivals any big bass catch I've ever had!

After a harsh cold front in Texas. @Jon B. and I are going camping and bass fishing on OH where huge bass is selectively feeding up on shad. We are using umbrella rigs strung up with Googan Baits Saucy Swimmers to wind the depths for this giant bass.

We used our side scan and down imaging to find and locate the structure that was holding crappie. Once we located a likely spot we used Gamin Live -scope to get closer to the structure and vertical jig to catch crappie. We also cast lures to the same fish with some success.

The fishing day started slow but by the afternoon the crappie bite was on fire. Most all the fish were really nice size crappie. I caught my PB crappie today it was 15-3/4" long, my weight scale was broken and I could not weigh it but it probably weighed 2 1/2lbs or so. We kept fish today because we were going to have a fish fry.

The fish were biting good today. Most fish were caught casting curly tail lures to them. The crappie seemed to react better to a moving bait.

Today we used the live scope to spot and stalk big crappie in oped water. The bigger crappies were for the most part scattered, only once did I see three together.

We used the live scope to spot crappie out in open water today. We used double rig hair jigs to drop lures down to the crappie, Most of the crappie would at least come over and look at the lure so that was a good sign, at least they were not too spooky.
